41 - Shaker End Table Build
I finally got a chance to create one of my favorite furniture designs ever. A super simple Shaker End Table. This table it very easy to build and is a great project. As we all know the simpler the design the more important it is to get all the details perfect... I didn't get everything perfect but I really love the way this piece turned out and has become one of my favorite build. I hope you enjoy the video.

So we set out to build a sofa table that had the dog crate built into it... Well we have 2 fairly large dogs so the size got big... 7' side 31" deep and 33" high. I hope you enjoy the build. Tokonole is the best burnishing agent. Never punch directly onto a cutting matt it is designed for cutting only. Use a dedicated punch board to save your chisels from breaking as well. Otherwise very nice minimalist design! I'm going to be making a case for my Boox Note Air 3 soon because I love leather as well

You have to pixelpeep to see at what level you picture falls apart and why it does that. Going close do you see mush or Fuji worms or what? Can you see and understand what you are seeing when you get close? THAT has nothing to do with sharpness. Sharpness can kill a picture. People are obsessed with sharpness. Fuji X-T100 is way too sharp in camera. When you zoom in you have no clue what you are looking at, its just weird shapes that makes no sense

Hey Jorge ... I just wanted to check in with you to see if 1., you still had this saw and 2. if the wings have worked out for you long term. I've wanted to take the same basic approach to one of the newer Ridgid contractor saws and I was fortunate enough to run into your video you made a few years ago. I sincerely hope to hear back from you and get an idea of just how good this solution has worked for you. Cheers my friend ... I've always appreciated someone that takes the time and makes the effort to share their ideas and experiences with the rest of the community. It really does help.

Hi Dave, I still have the saw and the extension wings are still in great shape. I did give them 1 super light sanding and added a coat of poly recently just as maintainence. They are holding up great and I love the look they give my saw. It’s totally worth the upgrade it’s way better than the original stamped metal ones.

Haha this is called Alligator(ing) finish that happens to antique furniture that’s shellacked. It happens to all old shellacked items eventually. A lot of ppl like myself are looking for best ways of reamalgamating a finish so it goes away and here you are creating it. I guess it can look cool but a lot of times the crazing compromises the wood underneath to damage from elements.
